April 26 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Dr. Noel Brownlee as Stanley and David Payne as Livingstone

Join us April 26 for Livingstone and Stanley, an original two-man work written for Erskine College by acclaimed actor and playwright David Payne. The dramatic reading will star Payne as Livingstone and Erskine professor Dr. Noel Brownlee as Stanley.

The year is 1871, and Dr. David Livingstone, an explorer and missionary, has disappeared in the African interior. At the request of the New York Herald, reporter and part-time explorer Henry Morton Stanley embarks on a perilous expedition to locate Livingstone.

Held in beautiful Memorial Hall on the campus of Erskine College, the dramatic reading will begin at 7:00 p.m.
