The John & Sarah Ellen Carson Scholarship & Global Theological Education Initiative

Global theological diploma.

Project Summary

The Global Diploma in Theology and Christian Leadership is a non-credit bearing, continuing education credential for church leaders in the Global South. Erskine offers the Global Diploma to provide robust biblical and theological training to equip church leaders for effective Christian leadership in their own specific cultures and contexts.

When you give to the The John & Sarah Ellen Carson Scholarship & Global Theological Education Initiative, every dollar you give is an investment in Gospel-centered transformation. Your gift help to:

  • Provide scholarships to students in the Global South Church to participate in the Diploma program.
  • Grow the program to other locations throughout the Global South, including the Spanish-speaking world.
  • Serve the Global South Church in the countries of Rwanda and Pakistan, with additional emerging opportunities in East Africa and the Urdu-speaking world. These initiatives include:
    • Translation Project for Rwanda
We are launching a vital translation project in Rwanda to equip church leaders with essential theological resources in their own language. With limited access to biblical training materials, these leaders are eager to grow and serve their communities more effectively. Your support will help provide them with the tools they need to teach and lead with confidence.
    • Partnership for Pakistan
Your continued generosity allows us to send more students to Erskine, shaping the future of Christian leadership in Pakistan.
