Elizabeth G. “Beth” Boyd brings extensive professional experience to her role at Erskine, having served in various corporate roles in major U.S. corporations including Fortune 500 companies, in the legal field as a legislative affairs and lobbying specialist, and in leadership roles in higher education.

In addition to her current work in academia, Boyd is an accomplished entrepreneur and community volunteer. Her commitment to the community is reflected in her leadership roles as Public Image/Public Relations Chair and Director of the Greenwood S.C. Rotary Club, Vice-Chair of the Greater Abbeville County Chamber of Commerce, and Trustee of the American Football Coaches Wives Association, where she is a past president. Boyd has also served as chair of the Footsteps to Success program for the Junior League of Orlando and is a former member of the Junior Leagues of Tampa and Orlando.

Boyd earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from The University of the South and completed a Summer Studies program at the London School of Economics.

Personal Interests

Boyd and her husband resides in Due West and have three grown children. Her interests include spending time with family, reading, biking, walking the family dog Apollo, and enjoying the great outdoors.
