Title IX Coordinator
B.A., Bryan College
Profile
Erin Barrick earned her B.A. in Psychology from Bryan College in 2008. She served as both a Resident Assistant in college and a Resident Director upon graduation. She and her husband Sam have been working in college student ministry together for the past twenty years. Barrick is also a self-taught baker who has worked in both private and commercial catering roles over the past two decades. Before moving to Due West in 2017, she served as the pastry chef at a university in Ohio for four years.
Currently a homeschool mom to three daughters, Barrick considers the education of her children to be the most fulfilling endeavor of her life. Passionate about education, Barrick serves as the administrator for Greenwood Christian School Home Educators Association (GCSCHEA). She serves in her local church as a Sunday school teacher for first through fifth grade children, and as a women’s speaker on topics of spiritual growth and formation. In spite of her many teaching projects, she keeps a creative thumb in the mixing bowl as the baker for Erskine College’s Fleet Sweets program.
Barrick became the Title IX Coordinator for Erskine College in 2026 as a way to further invest in student advocacy, support, intervention, and formation.
