Profile
Stephanie Hudson joined Erskine College in 2016 and has led the institution’s technology team since 2017. As Senior Director of Information Services, she is responsible for guiding the college’s technology strategy while also working alongside her team to deliver the day-to-day services that keep campus running. In a small-college environment, her role ranges from long-term planning and project management to troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users, and helping implement solutions that serve students, faculty, and staff. Although her role centers on technology, experience at a small college has taught her that “all other duties as assigned” can occasionally include projects well beyond traditional IT, from supporting campus construction initiatives to helping solve the countless challenges that arise in the day-to-day operation of the institution.
Prior to joining Erskine, Hudson worked in higher education information technology and completed summer IT internships with the U.S. Air Force. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Georgia Southwestern State University in 2015 and a Master of Science in Information Systems Technology with a concentration in Information Assurance from Wilmington University in January 2021.
