Originally from Nebraska, Dr. Wendi Santee earned a B.A. in Psychology from MidAmerica Nazarene University, an M.S. in Counseling from Avila University, and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership, Higher Education from Azusa Pacific University. She has worked in higher education for over 25 years in a variety of settings, including private, public, and land grant institutions.

With a background in residence life, judicial services, campus life, and health and counseling services, Dr. Santee leads Erskine’s office of student development as vice president for student success. She has served at Erskine since 2015.

Research

Dr. Santee’s dissertation was a qualitative study entitled “A Study of Women in Senior-Level Administration at Member Institutions of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities.”
