This Thursday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m., a dozen outstanding music students will take the stage in Memorial Hall for this year’s Honors Recital.

The featured students, selected by the music faculty,  “demonstrated excellence in their solo performances this semester,” Assistant Professor of Music Dr. Brad Parker said.

Admission is free and the public is welcome. A reception will follow the concert.

Students chosen to perform are Christian Beamguard, Tillary Blackman, Julie Boyce, Schadell Brooks, Hannah Collins, Erin Harvell, Jonathan Jacobs, Jennifer Karel, Edison Kang, Hannah Timms, Will Unthank, and Kurt Widenhouse. Parker noted that the group includes “singers, pianists, a violinist, and a clarinetist.”
