Seniors Corin Hallman of Mount Pleasant and Roberto De La Vina of Oviedo, Spain, were named this year’s Jake Todd Award winners at the first annual “Fleety” Awards Show in Lesesne Auditorium May 14.

The Fleety Awards Show replaced the annual athletic banquet with a celebration that included a red carpet area outside Lesesne Auditorium.

Fourteen new awards were presented for the first time this year, in addition to such established awards as the Murphy Osborne Award, the Karen G. Bell Award, the Sonny Rhem Award, and the Dr. Gid Alston Award.

The Gid Alston Award was given to retiring Head Men’s Tennis Coach Vardon Cox. Head Men’s Volleyball Coach Derek Schmitt served as director and emcee for the event.
