Seminary professor honored at army retirement ceremony

U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain (Colonel) Michael A. Milton has retired after 36 years of service.

A minister in the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Milton serves as James H. Ragsdale Chair for Missions and Evangelism and directs the chaplain ministries emphasis in the Master of Divinity program at Erskine Theological Seminary. He is founder and president of Faith for Living, Inc., and president and senior fellow of the D. James Kennedy Institute. Milton formerly served as president of the Charlotte campus of Reformed Theological Seminary and then chancellor and chief executive officer of Reformed Theological Seminary.

Milton holds the Ph.D. from the University of Wales, Trinity Saint David College.
