IMPORTANT UPDATE: Alumni Weekend and Homecoming 2021 set for March 26-27

Erskine College will host a combined Alumni Weekend and Homecoming celebration Friday and Saturday, March 26-27. Both in-person and virtual activities are included in this year’s schedule of events. Due to circumstances beyond Erskine’s control, elements of the schedule have been changed as of 3-24-21. An updated schedule is available here.

In-person activities Friday begin with the Erskine Open Golf Tournament at 9 a.m., to be played at The Links at Stoney Point in Greenwood. Later that day, Sinfonia and Jazz Band will offer a concert at 4 p.m. on the steps of the Bowie Arts Center. On Friday evening, the Darlington Cup Debate— the Euphemians against the Philomatheans—is set for 7 p.m. in Lesesne Auditorium.

Saturday’s in-person schedule begins with a meeting of the Alumni Association at 9 a.m. in Lesesne Auditorium. A number of award winners will be honored during the meeting, including those who won awards at Alumni Day 2020 when no in-person recognition took place.

An important change has been made to the homecoming football schedule. See updated information here. A home football game is now scheduled for 4 p.m. in J.W. Babb Stadium in nearby Greenwood, with the Fleet taking the field against Tusculum University. Many alumni will want to attend in person, but fans can also see the game at www.erskine.edu/watch/.

A complimentary lunch will be served in Moffatt Dining Hall at 12 noon.

A variety of virtual events will be available, including planetarium and museum tours and virtual board games. Two service opportunities—the first enabling participants to earn money for their chosen charity and the second offering them a chance to donate rice to people in need—will also be presented online.
