Project Summary

Positive growth in Fleet Athletics has led to a critical need for more field space and improved facilities. Currently, Huggins Field is shared by the men’s and women’s soccer teams while Fleet Football occupies a small 80-yard practice field. Ralph Lundy Field will provide a new home for the Fleet soccer teams, along with space for intramurals. Football will move from the practice field to the more spacious Huggins Field. The new and improved soccer venue will help our coaches recruit and retain talented student-athletes that the Fleet needs to be successful.

The new field will be named for coaching legend Ralph Lundy, who led Flying Fleet Soccer to seven district titles and three NAIA Tournaments in the 1970s and 80s. His legacy continues today in our men’s and women’s soccer teams.

Ralph Lundy Field will benefit at least 250 current students and hundreds more for years to come!
