Profile
Corbin Herron serves as Accounts Receivable Manager at Erskine College, where he oversees student accounts receivable operations. He works closely with students and families regarding account balances and payment options, while supporting the college’s financial processes with a commitment to accuracy, accountability, and excellent service.
Since joining Erskine in June 2023, Herron has served in several student-focused leadership roles. He began as a Student Services Navigator in Erskine Central, assisting students with billing, financial aid, registration, and other enrollment-related services. He later served as Manager of Enrollment Services, providing leadership for the Erskine Central team and helping enhance the student support experience. In October 2025, he transitioned to his current role as Accounts Receivable Manager.
Guided by 1 Corinthians 10:31 and a desire to honor God through his work, Herron strives to serve students and families with excellence, integrity, and care while supporting the mission of Erskine College.
Experience & Education
Before joining Erskine, Herron served in ministry positions including Youth and Music Pastor at Connie Maxwell Baptist Church and Minister of Students at Sweetwater Baptist Church. Through these roles, he invested in the spiritual development of students while teaching music, leading worship, and fostering meaningful relationships with students and families.
Herron earned a Bachelor of Science in Music Education (K-12) from Lander University. He also holds the CompTIA A+ certification and has a strong interest in leveraging technology to improve efficiency, security, and service.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Herron enjoys spending time with his wife, Anna, and their two children. He enjoys camping, music, and technology and serves as a part-time worship leader at Abbeville First Baptist Church.
