Madison Proffitt serves as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Student-Athlete Development. A recent graduate from the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.), Proffitt is also a Certified Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and Nutritionist through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). Having grown up participating in a variety of sports, including Soccer, basketball, track and field, and gymnastics, Proffitt developed an early passion for athletics, fitness, and performance. These experiences helped shape the discipline, work ethic, leadership, and team-oriented approach that she brings to both professional and athletic settings.
Professional Experience
Proffitt has experience training and coaching athletes, both young and old, helping them prepare for competitive seasons, improve athletic performance, and work toward individual fitness and performance goals. Through coaching and training, she has developed strong skills in communication, motivation, leadership, and problem-solving in fast-paced, goal-oriented environments. Combining a background in business with experience in athletics and fitness, Proffitt is passionate about contributing to organizational growth while supporting athletic development, wellness, and performance.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Proffitt enjoys the beach, coffee, fitness, sports, and spending time with friends and family. Above all, her faith is at the center of all she does, and she loves talking about Jesus and sharing her faith with others.
