For nearly 15 years Scott taught in Eben-Ezer Theological Seminary of the Mexican ARP. Besides being a professor and minister, Scott has counseled and recruited students as they considered a life calling to the ministry, served as a conference speaker with emphasis on theological themes, conducted marriage workshops and translated and published three books into Spanish—The Work of the Pastor and Towards Spiritual Maturity by William Still and The Momentous Event by W. J. Grier.

Rev. Moore graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Columbia International University in Columbia, SC in 1988, and in 1994 he received a Masters of Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary in Jackson, MS. Scott and his wife Julie met at Columbia Bible College in 1985 where they were studying while considering service on the mission field. They married in 1988 and are the parents of six children: Benjamin, Robyn, Nathanael, Elizabeth, Rebekah, and Lydia whose ages range from 29 all the way down to 13.

Scott accepted a call to come to Due West ARP Church in January of 2021.
