Erskine Quiz Bowl Team to compete Oct. 15

Erskine’s new Quiz Bowl Team will engage in its first competition of the year Saturday, Oct. 15, says Gabriel Collier, who serves as team chaplain.

Coached by Assistant Professor of History Dr. Corinne Gressang, members of the team will travel to Georgia Tech University, which is hosting ACF Fall, a tournament designed by Academic Competition Federation (ACF) as an introduction to college quiz bowl. More than 200 teams compete in this tournament each year.

Members of the Erskine Quiz Bowl Team include Gabriel Collier, a sophomore from Holly Hill, S.C.; Josh Dorsey, a sophomore from Honea Path, S.C.; Hunter Godbolt, a senior from Dillon, S.C.; Noah Lin, a sophomore from Palos Verdes Estates, Calif.; Reles Littleton, a sophomore from Clinton, S.C.; Harvee Patel, a freshman from Donalds, S.C.; Kritu Patel, a freshman from Greenwood, S.C.; and Dalton White, a freshman from Covington, Ga.
