Profile
In 2026, Drew Arrington retired from active duty as an Army chaplain after 23 years of service. He now serves students, faculty, and staff as the campus pastor at Erskine. Arrington works closely with Jamie Williams, Erskine’s director of campus ministries and external relations, to provide regular worship and spiritual growth opportunities for the Erskine community. He also partners with the Due West ARP Church in leading a Sunday night worship service for the college and the local community of Due West, S.C. He, his wife Allison, and their three daughters (Anna, Liz, and Kate) moved to Due West and joined the Erskine family in the summer of 2026.
Arrington is a pastor of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Catawba Presbytery. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Secondary Education from Berry College, Mount Berry, Ga. (1998). He earned a Master of Divinity with a focus in Pastoral Counseling from Columbia International University, Columbia, S.C (2005). He is currently a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Erskine Theological Seminary.
Professional Experience
Drew Arrington served as a missionary educator in Seoul, South Korea at International Christian School – Seoul where he taught high school social studies, was the faculty sponsor for Model United Nations, and coached the men’s basketball and volleyball teams (1998-2000). In April 2003, he commissioned as an officer in the United States Army and entered active duty as an Army chaplain in June 2006. He and his family lived in eleven homes, nine cities, and two countries during 21 years of active-duty service.
