Livingstone & Stanley – Sept. 27, 2024, 7:00 p.m.

“Livingstone & Stanley” is a play about the remarkable life of 19th century explorer and missionary Dr. David Livingstone (played by David Payne). Central to his story are his Christian faith, his mission in Africa, and the challenges, failures, and triumphs he faced. Through Livingstone’s life, we begin to understand the price that is paid when one is committed to answering the call of God.

The year is 1871 and reporter and part-time explorer Henry Morton Stanley (played by Dr. Noel Brownlee) has embarked on an expedition into the African interior. His mission is to locate Livingstone, who has not been heard from for several years.
