Profile

Valentina Shemereko grew up in Bryansk, Russia and moved to the United States in 1998. She graduated from Pensacola Christian College in Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and a minor in English. In the coming years, she hopes to earn the Master of Arts in Christian Counseling at Erskine College.

Professional Experience

Previously, Shemereko taught various grades and subjects at Salvation Christian Academy in Washington state. After moving to South Carolina in August 2022, she worked at Christian schools in Greenwood and later gained experience working in the Abbeville School District. She started working at Erskine as a Navigator in October 2023.

Personal Interests

In her spare time, Shemereko spends time with family and friends. She enjoys board games, card games, and trivia. In the summer, she likes going to parks and lakes, playing sports, hiking, camping, and going to the beach. She also enjoys traveling with friends and family.
