Athletic Training

Are you passionate about sports? Do you love helping people? A major in a CAATE * accredited Athletic Training program by may be for you. Athletic Trainers work with athletes to keep them healthy, diagnose injuries, and aid in rehabilitation.

The athletic training major at Erskine College emphasizes hands-on practice of clinical skills. Once students have learned skills in classes and labs and have demonstrated that they can perform the skills, they work with athletes in real life patient care settings.

Our students get a great deal of practical experience on the field and in the clinic to be excellent entry-level athletic trainers once they pass the BOC Exam.

A degree in Athletic Training leads directly into an excellent career, but can also prove to be a springboard into other tracks like Pre-Medical and Physical Therapy.
