Are you fascinated by energy, motion, machinery, and complex systems? If you would like to investigate the forces of the physical universe, consider being a Physics major at Erskine.

The Bachelor’s degree in physics prepares students for graduate work in physics or engineering, or to enter directly into industrial or governmental science careers. Going on to graduate school can open the way to research science or teaching as well as higher-level engineering. Engineers are in consistently high demand across a wide range of fields.

Students take courses such as thermodynamics, astronomy, electronics, mechanics, and electro-magnetism, as well as advanced mathematics.

Like all programs at Erskine College, the Physics major includes well-rounded liberal arts and allows room for a minor in a supporting field or complementary field.
