Erskine rolls out the ‘garnet carpet’ April 12 for Alumni Day 2025

Alumni Day is planned for Saturday, April 12, this year, offering family entertainment, reunion activities, and sporting events for alumni and friends. Registration information is available here.

Saturday’s highlights include the Alumni Association meeting at 9:00 a.m. in Bowie Chapel, where this year’s alumni awards will be presented; Music on the Mall with singer/songwriter Trey Stephens from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and a Choraleers and Alumni Choraleers Concert at 2 p.m. in Memorial Hall.

“A Walk through the Years of Erskine,” a special exhibit in honor of the 185th anniversary of the founding of Erskine College, will be on display in Reid Hall from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Bowie Arts Center (10 a.m.-2 p.m.), the Fleet Shop (8 a.m.-4 p.m.), and the Grumpy Mule Coffee Shop (8:30 a.m.-11 a.m.) will also be open to welcome alumni and friends.

On the Mall, inflatables and cookie decorating kick off at 10 a.m. and T-shirt-making at 11:30 a.m. Other opportunities include Camp Sherlock Holmes for high school students interested in forensic science from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. (registration required); a Garnet, Gold & Boom football celebration beginning at 2 p.m.; Fleet sports including baseball, softball, tennis, and volleyball, plus alumni games; and food trucks on campus beginning at 1 p.m.

A complimentary picnic lunch on the Erskine Mall (registration required) begins at 11:30 a.m.
