The Erskine History and Heritage Gallery tells the story of Erskine College and serves as a resource on local history. The museum, still under development, will include displays on the revolution era in the Upstate, the formation of Erskine College, women’s education in Due West, and historic societies at the college.

Our artifacts also include historically significant Christian texts, including a copy of John Calvin’s Institutes of the Christian Religion and the Marrow of Modern Divinity by Edward Fisher.

Our first display, which examines the college’s roots in the Reformation, is set to open April 18, 2026. Check back to learn about the continuing development of the museum. We invite the public to visit our gallery and explore our resources.
