Employment Opportunities

Erskine seeks candidates for faculty and staff positions who are professing Christians and who are committed to excellence in teaching and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.

Our tradition of excellence in liberal arts higher education goes back over 180 years to our founding in 1839 by the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, making Erskine one of the oldest, most respected church-affiliated colleges in the Southeast.

Functioning as both an excellent liberal arts college and a close-knit community, Erskine provides excellent opportunities for students, staff, and faculty to take learning beyond the classroom. Faculty and staff members serve as mentors and often become lifelong friends with students.

Erskine College is located in the academic village of Due West in Abbeville County, South Carolina, an area rich in history. The town and the college have a number of buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Erskine College is classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a Doctoral/Professional institution. Erskine is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU).
