Community to come together for Erskine’s Lessons & Carols

Erskine’s annual Christmas event, “An Erskine Celebration: Christmas Lessons & Carols,” is set for Tuesday, December 2, at 7:00 p.m. in the Due West ARP Church. The evening will feature Scripture readings as well as music by local churches, community members, and Erskine students and alumni.

Returning musicians include The Johnson Bentley Band, the Mt. Zion AME Church choir, the Erskine Choraleers, and the Resounding Joy Handbell Choir from Honea Path Baptist Church.

This year’s event will feature several new faces, including Erskine senior Rachel Jordan and junior Sarah Rentz, the Timms & Clarke Vocal Ensemble, and the Dis We Bahamian Group with Erskine Resident Director Clay Henfield and freshman Zaiah Henfield.

The event is free and open to the public.
