Welcome

If you don’t just want to read about business and memorize terms, check out our program. See what our students are doing "today," to be ready for tomorrow’s challenges, not just ready for a test.

We have begun a new innovative and integrative curriculum that doesn’t just teach “about” business, but rather focuses on how business works by using real projects and a small business model. We call it the Get Real Initiative. At the heart of this initiative is a new curriculum that is purposefully designed to help students to graduate with a strong knowledge of fundamental business concepts, as well as the practiced and proven ability to apply those concepts.

These efforts are accomplished through traditional lectures, simulations, and cases.  However, unlike most schools, we don’t stop there; we infuse the curriculum with many intensive hands on “real” projects helping local businesses through our Small Business Support Center.  Through these student projects, your professors become coaches, as opposed to just professors professing knowledge.  The goal through these projects is to help you be more competitive for externships, internships, and later for your career job after graduation.

Our program also features engaging facilities, a world class advisory board, and faculty who are not only academically qualified, but who also have “real” experience working with executives and managers of industry leading organizations.

Another rich aspect of our program is the student’s high exposure to technology used beyond the typical education and opportunities to develop deep skills in areas of interest by being part of several student organizations.

All of these aspects are centered by a teaching focus of instilling in students an entrepreneurial mindset “to create value in the community profitably,” as opposed to just teaching about creating wealth vacant of a greater purpose, values or ethical principles.

For more information about the program, please contact one of our Admissions Department or any of our faculty members directly.
